Most industrial end-users have a one-sided misunderstanding that the service life of industrial valves is entirely determined by product manufacturing quality. However, long-term industrial maintenance data proves that more than 60% of premature valve scrapping and early failure are not caused by factory quality problems, but by working condition mismatched material selection, irregular on-site operation and unscientific daily maintenance. The most critical core method is precise material selection based on actual working conditions. Material mismatch is the primary cause of rapid valve failure. Before valve procurement, technical personnel must confirm key parameters such as medium corrosivity, operating temperature, working pressure and solid particle content. Carbon steel valves are suitable for ordinary clean water and non-corrosive conventional media; stainless steel valves apply to weak corrosive working conditions; duplex steel valves are the best choice for medium containing chloride ions; special alloy valves are customized for strong acid and severe corrosion environments. Fifth, implement full-cycle preventive maintenance. Replace vulnerable parts such as packing and gaskets regularly according to operating cycle, instead of repairing and replacing parts only after leakage and failure occur.
